During the week organized by ReGiS on the theme “The Garden and the Game“, October 15 to 21, the Minoprio Foundation and the Scuola Agraria of Monza, with the participation of the Centro documentazione Residenze Reali Lombarde, Ruralia Association and Cristina Moretti, have drawn up a program of fun educational workshops related to this issue to be proposed to elementary schools.
Objectives:
• to recover the children taste for outdoor play and manuality
• promote the discovery and understanding of the relationship between history, culture, art and society in a global view, where the architecture coexists with botany, painting, gastronomy, etc.
• to take the knowledge that the historic garden is a place that belongs to our cultural and environmental heritage and as such must be protected and preserved.
Where: In the gardens of villas joined in the Network of Historic Gardens.
When: from 15-10-2012 to 21-10-2012, each morning of the working week, form 10.00 to 12.00. Five classes of each municipality will take part to the project.
The laboratories will be:

2.“Botanical orienteering”, Scuola Agraria of Monza,
3.“Botanical laboratory”, Ruralia Association
4.“History, stories… in villa”, Centro documentazione Residenze Reali Lombarde
